Building a train set, a lot carpentry has first to be done.  After the first tracks are layed, some 8-10 months of wiring will follow.  All that wiring has to be connected to sensors, and those, in turn, connected to the computer for total digital control of all switches, signals, track sections and lokomotives.  Much wiring has then to be added for electrifying the whole set with 10 transformers as well as lighting it with some 1000 small bulbs and LEDs.  The set will eventually contain two large mountain areas with lakes and a river, about 100 buidings and many streets.  These streets will have magnetic wires built into them to enable the running of electronicly controlled cars and trucks.
